The Children's Memorial Health Institute (Pomnik – Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka) in Warsaw was established as a nationwide center for specialized pediatric care. The idea for its creation arose in the 1960s, and its implementation was linked to the concept of building a modern hospital-monument dedicated to children's health. Construction began in the early 1970s, and the hospital officially opened in 1977. From the outset, the Children's Memorial Health Institute (CZD) served as a central reference center, admitting the most seriously ill children from across Poland. The facility combined clinical treatment with research and teaching, an innovative approach in Polish pediatrics at the time. In the following decades, the Center developed dynamically, becoming one of the most important centers in Europe for highly specialized pediatric diagnostics and treatment, including transplantology, cardiology, neurology, and pediatric oncology. To this day, the CZD remains a key institution in the Polish healthcare system, treating the most challenging pediatric cases and conducting research.

Everyone probably knows the place, so a description is unnecessary.

Everything points to the Fatima apparitions, but I can't find any more details about this monument anywhere.

The prayer on the pedestal indicates that the monument commemorates the Fatima Apparitions.

The only information about the shrine I was able to find in the "Catalog of shrines and crosses of Warsaw" - I didn't even know that such a thing existed, but considering that it even contains such a chapel, it looks like a reliable study :-). Unfortunately, there is little information there: A figurine of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception placed on a high pedestal under an arched roof supported by bars, with with the inscription "Ave Mary". In the body of the chapel there is a modern recess with a painting of Jesus and Saint Faustina with the inscription: "Jesus, I trust in You". The chapel was renovated by donors in 2010.
