Burg Laubenbergerstein is a ruin between Stein im Allgäu and Immenstadt im Allgäu and lies high above the Iller. It was founded in the 12th century and remained in the possession of the Laubenberger family for centuries. In 1559, the family moved into their new castle Rauhenzell, where their descendants still live today. The castle began to decay in the 17th century and remained in family ownership until 1977. Then, the Immenstadt local history association, as the new owner, began to restore the castle, which is why a lot of structures can be admired today.

Tastes differ. The cake is delicious and the view is great. I live in Kempten and have removed the cafe from my list because it is very crowded. If necessary, during the week and outside of the holiday season. Also annoying are the many flies from the cow shed when you can sit outside. In the Krone in Stein and in the Sonne in Niedersonthofen you can eat very deliciously in peace.
