Burg Laubenbergerstein is a ruin between Stein im Allgäu and Immenstadt im Allgäu and lies high above the Iller. It was founded in the 12th century and remained in the possession of the Laubenberger family for centuries. In 1559, the family moved into their new castle Rauhenzell, where their descendants still live today. The castle began to decay in the 17th century and remained in family ownership until 1977. Then, the Immenstadt local history association, as the new owner, began to restore the castle, which is why a lot of structures can be admired today.

Many small bays for swimming. There are also occasional changing cubicles and portable toilets. Lots of nature. Dogs must be on a leash and are not allowed in the water.
