The Chapel of Our Lady of the Sepulchre was originally built in 1490 on the site of the Saulchoir, a former burial mound that served as a resting place for pilgrims to the Mount of the Trinity (Mont Saint-Aubert) who came to pray before a statue of the Virgin Mary. The building was restored in 1608. In 1833, the chapel was expanded by six meters. In 1957, it underwent a second restoration by the architect F. Ladavid. The chapel consists of a single nave and comprises two chapels with pentagonal apses, simulating the presence of a transept. The whole is concluded by a pentagonal apse and a narrow sacristy. The facade, which rests on a stone base, has a portal and a small window with a stone sill. The nave and sacristies have similar windows with keystone surrounds. The interior is characterized by a deep, low vault, stucco-decorated corbels supporting transverse arches, and two altars decorated with rocaille motifs. The building was classified as a historical monument on January 15, 1936.

The cobblestone path connecting Rue du Reposoir to Place de Mont-Saint-Aubert was transformed into the "Chemin des Poètes" (Poet's Path) at the initiative of Tournai poet Géo Libbrecht (1891-1976): some fifty quotations were incorporated into the paving. Géo Libbrecht is buried in the Poet's Garden, here in Mont-Saint-Aubert.
