The trails near the Glen House Hotel are mostly open meadow trails on grass and dirt. The paths are fairly flat, wide, and offer a lot of views, so you'll likely see others out biking, walking, and jogging during your ride. Even once the snow comes for the season, the trails are packed and grooved for fat biking.

Amazing waterfalls over the Ammonoosuc river with a quite deep and cool pool where you can jump from high above into the water. Very cool and fun place for the summer time.

The Welch and Dickey Mountains are very close in distance one to another and at about the same altitude. They both offer wonderful open granite section landscapes accompanied by a panorama of forests as far as the eye can see.

Awesome hike. I accomplished it 10 times. The last time I got caught in a thunder storm. I usually take 3 hours to complete. That time I did it in 2 hrs. Thunder tends to make you move a lot faster

The Marshall Conservation Area contains some typical fun New England singletrack, and some gravel roads to blast around. Not very technical, so CX bike is doable (I've done it), but stick to the fire roads with your tourer. There's a connection with Passaconaway Road, which gets you to the Kancamagus. Also, there's a bike fixing station just inside the gate at the end of the car park, with air, tools etc.

Not quite as easy as noted in the description. Loose rocks and lots of roots, steep steps. Good sturdy shoes with good grip soles needed
