Hiking
This former quarry is a bit off the Hiwweltour Aulheimer Tal.
A side trip is definitely worth it.
In the meantime vines grow on the former sole of the quarry. But the old demolition edge is still very good to see and impresses with mighty sandstone blocks.

Hiking
Really very hidden in the middle of the vineyards above the "Ghost Mill" near Flonheim-Uffhofen.
