It's a very beautiful place with magnificent views of the Rieserferner mountain range. Above all, the highest peak, the Hochgall, is truly impressive.

Built between 1908 and 1911, the parish church of Sankt Wolfgang (San Volfango) is one of the few churches in the province of Bolzano in neo-Gothic style. It stands at 1590 m above sea level, on the slope overlooking the wide valley floor created by the Rio di Riva. Of the original church (15th century) only the bell tower remains. The furnishings are entirely the work of Tyrolean artists. Particularly notable are the Art Nouveau frescoes on the triumphal arch by the painter Emanuel Raffeiner from Schwaz. The three altars and the pulpit are the work of the sculptor Josef Bachlechner from Bruneck.
