Today most of their settlement is covered by the lake. The park has a recreational boat landing and rest areas to take a break for swimming or a snack.

Folsom Historic Truss Bridge, or Rainbow Bridge, is an interesting architectural feat. It is a rare showcase of a pin-connected truss bridge in the Pennsylvania truss configuration. It is 110 feet tall, and its construction dates back to 1893. It is now a foot bridge only.

Very nice trail with great views over Lake Natoma. There are several swimming spots and you may even see some wildlife. Dogs are allowed, but should be leashed. Since the trail is popular with hikers, runners and bikers, you are rarely alone.

Beautiful bridge, but avoid at all costs. Many bikers do not know the rules and will not call out when riding toward you without caring. I am surprised i have not seen more walker-biker accidents. 1 out of 20 bicycles I saw called on the side the were passing us on which is proper etiquette when on riding
