January 24, 2024, View of San Gabriel Valley from Summitridge Park

The sunsets in this park are wonderful. Here, you can enjoy an oasis of nature with excellent views of the San Gabriel Valley. However, it's quite exposed, so if it's hot, make sure to bring water.

This is a great little packed loop trail with views overlooking Diamond Bar. There is easy access from Summitridge Park, where you can park and access the trail right next to the parking lot. It extends to a couple of other nearby urban trails if you feel like a longer hike past the loop.
