Schafkoben = sheepfold. Here you can also relax, or like the two ladies here, snack on some silly things.

Ascent from Deckers Pad, which runs directly under the motorway at Tweelbäke. The tunnel is a bit dark and flat.

The memorial consists of a 14-meter-high obelisk and is located in the center of the small Bürgerbusch park in Oldenburg, near Alexanderstraße. The base supports the memorial plaque at the front and a sandstone crossbeam on the other three sides. Symbols of the sword and the rising sun are located on all sides. Nazi symbols have been removed. For propaganda purposes, the memorial was not inaugurated in Ahlhorn, but at the same time as the airport in Oldenburg on August 20, 1933. The design was by retired government architect Dr. Biebel, and the location was suggested by Lord Mayor Dr. Rabeling.
