You can use the picnic bench at this location. As the name suggests, it seems that it is located in the Boerengat on the edge of the city of Terneuzen. The nearby Paradijs is a paradise for many walkers and cyclists who can discover the Braakman.

When the Lovenpolder near Hoek was diked in 1542, a branch of the Braakman estuary was located inside the dike. That is now the Voorste Creek. Lots of reeds grow along the lake and wild orchids occur. A 64-meter-long bridge has been constructed over the creek for walkers and wheelchair users. You can take a detour to the village forest of Hoek. The bridge also ensures that the hiking trails here connect to the hiking network.
