An important and flourishing center needed a sufficient water supply, which was ensured by the aqueduct. A surprising amount of it has been preserved. https://www.viviminturnoscauri.it/luoghi/acquedotto-vespasiano/

The climb to monte moleta is a very steep climb that will finish at rifugio pornito. That road surface is not very good but the views of the sea and the mountains are very nice. Be aware that you also have to decent the same way back and the road is not very wide.
