October 21, 2025, Mount's Bay Cycle Path

In Penzance, you have to be careful to find the bike path. The route isn't well signposted here. Once you find it, it's easy to cycle and offers a beautiful view of St. Michael's Mount and the bay. As a cyclist, you also have to be careful of the many pedestrians here. The path isn't that wide.

A very lovely view can be had from here of St Michael's Mount. Accessible during mid to low tide, it is a beautiful place to visit via its granite causeway. Go and see this iconic rocky island crowned by a medieval church and castle. One of the 43 unbridged islands in the UK that is accessible by foot.

The standard walk down from the carpark. Be prepared to help people down the steps who have a pram / pushchair with them (you know it’s the right thing to do!).
