The Mon River Rail Trail South runs from Morgan town to Prickett’s Fort State Park. It is an 18 mile long, wooded trail that follows the Monongahela River and is completely traffic-free.

The West Fork River Rail Trail is a walking and biking route that runs 14.5 miles from Shinnston to Norway. The trail runs along the West Fork River and crosses several old rail bridges.

This rail tunnel was built in 1963 after the original tunnel built in the 1860s collapsed. The tunnel is almost 2000 feet long. Due to accidents during the construction of the tunnel, there are rumours that the tunnel is haunted.
