Great little park on the outskirts of Dessau, many beautiful paths, beautiful nature, with streams and a bridge, a castle and some statues and monuments. Very spacious and great for walking and switching off.

Dessau City History Museum, Johannbau. Dessau Palace. Information: Of the multi-winged palace complex, only the so-called Johannbau, the former west wing and oldest part of the palace, remains today. It was severely damaged during World War II on March 7, 1945. From 1990 to 1997 and again from 2001 to 2005, the Johannbau was renovated and restored to its original form with its round-arched gables. The reconstructed Johannbau was opened to the public in August 2005 and has since served as the Dessau City History Museum.
