This is where the Flörsheimer Warte is located! It's an absolutely worthwhile destination, as the view is magnificent and you can also take a break up here with a glass of wine or other snacks.

There is a beautiful avenue of service trees here. A few other trees have now sneaked in, but it's still great.

Silver, shiny, three meters high, angular, unreal, almost like a character from a science fiction film: The raven at the edge of the Nussbaumquartier catches everyone's attention. It also has the honor of being the first artwork to be erected in the pilot area of the regional park. The aluminum sculpture was created by Thomas Reinelt from Flörsheim. It subtly plays with aspects of the tension between nature and culture and the role of humans. The artwork, erected in 1998, combines two images that closely merge with one another. On the one hand, the upright, towering raven. On the other, crystal-like geometric shapes. They replaced one leg of the imperious-looking bird. While the realistically proportioned raven figure symbolizes the value of nature, the geometric shapes are intended to represent human activity, the construction and dismantling, the joining and connecting. One can recognize in this an attempt to displace or replace nature. Although distorted by its aluminum construction, the animal figure dominates most of the sculpture. This can be interpreted as a reference to the resilience and indestructibility of nature. But also as an encouragement from the artist to recognize the forces of nature and to be empowered by them.
