To the summit! The challenging hike to the second highest mountain in the Saxon Ore Mountains is rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view from the observation tower. The last section up to the Auersberg leads behind the "Großer Stern" (hut) via the Himmelsleiter to the summit at 1,018 m altitude. The partly arduous ascent is rewarded with a magnificent view from the oldest stone observation tower (1860) in the Ore Mountains.
