This is a disused track that leads to the former Langendiebach air base. (The Hanau narrow-gauge railway had a different route, this one led through the Lamboyviertel to Rückingen, where the route branched off; one route led via Langendiebach to Hüttengesäß (Ronneburg) and the other via Rückingen to Langenselbold).

The tree is so stupid that it might be too low for some people to get under and too high for some people to climb over.

Nice little hike. Someone who would like to take a quick walk and put nature first. Parking spaces are available. Attention: the bunkers at the air base can only be admired through the fence.

It can happen that you suddenly discover railway tracks in the middle of the forest between Hanau and Bruchköbel.
