A beautiful and old sandstone cross gives the square its name. Several paths meet here. There are several places to sit and two picnic tables on the spacious square. There is also a small parking area for people who are not so good at walking.

The path below the rocks is a little more difficult to walk, but not a big problem. Here you can see the shelter and of course the impressive rocks from below. Highly recommended.

The shelter can only be seen if you take the more difficult path that goes under the rocks. Both paths are beautiful.

There was probably once a fortification here. Today it is a wonderful viewing rock on the western edge of the hiking trail (approx. 100 m dead-end path there).
