Neglected for years. Tried again on April 4th, 2025. Gave up and pushed the bike back up 50 meters of elevation gain. Impassable, even with a regular bike. No way. Such a shame... who can be contacted to do something about it? According to the municipality, it's privately owned.

Both sides are just awesome. Long S0-1 passages on the right, interrupted by S2-S4 pieces, some of which can only be overcome by carrying. Easy on the left, but unfortunately overgrown, which makes it a hell of a ride in summer. Definitely wear protectors, otherwise you will be torn apart by the jungle!

Those who like switchbacks will grin here, everyone with less good cornering technique has to lift a few times. The rest of the way is steep, but still easy to ride. The ground is relatively firm. Very nice section !!!

Awesome trail and hiking trail. Requires a little courage and good bike control, but then it's really fun! Not for beginners!

Before you plunge into the valley on this great trail, it is worth taking a short break at the hut. From there you have a great view of the Arnstein Monastery. The trail is varied with some narrow, steep turns. The last 50 meters are tough, so pushing was the order of the day for me.

Bike-Park Miehlen is a free facility with a pump track and dirt lines for all skill levels, while Emser Bikepark offers a unique 3.8 km flow trail with over 100 features, including northshores, drops, and wall rides.
Yes, both Bike-Park Miehlen and Emser Bikepark cater to various skill levels. Bike-Park Miehlen is designed for all age groups and skill levels, featuring a pump track and dirt lines. Emser Bikepark is also beginner-friendly, as difficult elements on its flow trail can be bypassed, allowing riders to progress at their own pace.
Bike-Park Miehlen offers a pump track and three distinct dirt lines. One of these lines has a gravel surface, making it suitable for riding even in wet weather. However, the earth-built lines should not be used during rain. It's a free-to-use facility located behind the community center in Miehlen.
Emser Bikepark is known for its extensive 3.8 to 3.9-kilometer flow trail, which boasts over 100 construction elements. These include a variety of freeride features such as northshores, drops, kickers, corners, tables, wall rides, dirt jumps, and a unique 180-degree box. It offers a dynamic ride with a high density of features for various skill levels.
Emser Bikepark operates seasonally, typically from early April or May until October, during daylight hours. It's best to visit during these months to ensure the park is open and conditions are suitable for riding.
Absolutely. For experienced riders seeking a challenge, consider the Mühlbachtal Rope Trail to Anton Funck Bridge (S1–S2), which features a narrow, rocky path partly secured with ropes. The Allenburg Trail (S2) also offers a challenging descent with tight turns and rocky sections, guaranteeing an adrenaline rush.
The Singletrack Trails in Nassau Conservation Area are highly recommended. This area features many well-maintained single trails that require technical riding skills and offer a high fun factor. Another option is the Singletrack (S1) Right Side of the Dörsbach (Downstream), known for its narrower, more varied paths.
For Bike-Park Miehlen, parking is available nearby the community center at Hauptstr. 3, 56357 Miehlen. For Emser Bikepark, parking is conveniently located at the sports field in Kemmenau, with a shuttle service running on weekends and holidays to transport riders to the trail's start.
Beyond the dedicated bike parks, Nastätten offers a variety of cycling opportunities. Yes, some trails require caution. For instance, the Mühlbachtal Rope Trail has steel cables that can snag handlebars, so attention is needed. The Jakobsruh Trail has been noted to have glass pieces in its lower third, so riders should be aware. Always wear appropriate protective gear, especially on more challenging routes.
