Quite a beautiful spot. Lots of great single trails in the area. Unfortunately, it's a bit muddy.

A beautiful, idyllic spot of water in the middle of the forest 🌳 the 🪷 were blooming, the frogs were croaking 🐸 fantastic for a rest, but quite a lot of people at the weekend, so it’s best during the week.

Unfortunately only a small 🐸 looked out of the water, but the background noise was definitely from more than one 😉

My father got the tip from an acquaintance that near Erzhausen in the forest near the B3 and quite close to Hahnwiesenbach there was a sequoia in the forest. Is somewhat hidden and if we hadn't known it was there we certainly wouldn't have spotted it. It doesn't look that big at first either: from below through the canopy of leaves of the surrounding trees, you can't really see its size. (Maybe in winter?) Four of us tried to embrace the tribe, but that would take at least one more human! Does anyone have a drone and can take photos from above? 😊 I'd also like to know how it got there...!
