In 2002, the grave monuments of the so-called 2nd Schlaininger Jewish Cemetery were re-erected. This made a contribution to securing and preserving this part of Schlaininger's history. According to the approximately 70 - 80 tombstone fragments found, the cemetery was the final resting place of the Schlaininger Jewish community from around 1780 to 1880. The Jewish successor cemetery, from which some gravestones have been preserved, is located on Oberwarter Straße. Source: https://www.stadtschlaining.at/system/web/zusatzseite.aspx?detailonr=217976238
