Generously designed spur from the Springorum Trasse to the Opel-Trasse. Unfortunately, there is no easily readable signage there. (Or I didn't see it)

Wonderful route from Bochum Altenbochum to Bo-Dahlhausen. There is a lot to see on the left and right. A small detour to the Haus Weimar castle park is worthwhile and by extending the route you can go to Ruhe and the railway museum.

The route branches here: To the right is the Opel Trail towards Laer, straight ahead continues along Springorum Avenue towards Bochum city center. There are benches right at the junction – ideal for a short break.

On this side, the bike path runs separately from the pedestrian path and somewhat away from the lake. It's quite uneven in places due to roots, but it's still a great bike path with views of the Kemnade Reservoir.

A great destination for a day trip, whether by bike, on foot, inline skates, etc. The Kemnader Reservoir is accordingly well-visited, but thanks to separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists, you can still make good progress, although caution is advised.
