His son, Rolf Kossmann († 1943), bequeathed it to the Black Forest Association Karlsruhe in his will, which was founded on June 3, 1887. The Black Forest Association Karlsruhe cordially invites hikers to linger here and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view over the Gottschlag Valley to the Karlsruher Grat ridge.
