From May 1st, the mountain hut is open again, Fri-Sun, also on public holidays and during holidays in BaWü. Regarding the view and concept/food offering, it is currently the most attractive hut in Baiersbronn and the entire Murgtal valley. E-bikers get up there without stress, hikers and bio-bikers have earned their drink. Cars are thankfully taboo up there, a shuttle is being worked on.

That's exactly what it looks like in winter: fog down below up to 800 meters, perfect weather up top 😁

The 1000m Höhenweg (High Trail) is ideal for escaping the summer heat. After the short, steep climb from Bad Griesbach via Sexauerstrasse to the Alexanderschanze, you can cycle the 1000m Höhenweg (High Trail) entirely along the mountain ridges of the Rench Valley for 20 km to Oberkirch, enjoying 6-8 degrees cooler temperatures. In the end, the tour has just 1,100 meters of elevation gain over 60 km.

The entire cycle path along the Murg is a highlight and of course also Mitteltal, where it always seems as if the world is particularly in order there 🤗
