Hambach Town Hall, built in 1983. Following the 1978 regional reform, in which the formerly independent municipalities of Hambach, Dittelbrunn, Holzhausen, and Pfändhausen were merged into a single municipality after some initial resistance, a new town hall was necessary. This functional new building (architect: Jürgen Michal) was located in the geographical center of the municipality, in Hambach, for better accessibility. To visually reduce the building's size, it was designed with three gabled roofs. The facade incorporates half-timbered elements, which, with their typical Franconian architectural style, help the building blend into its surroundings. It is situated directly adjacent to the forest, near the Marian grotto.

A very pleasant rest area at the Holzhausen/Pfändhausen/Hambach intersection, featuring a cross-bearer. A cross-bearer (also known as a cross-carrying figure or cross-slinger; colloquially called a cross-beater or cross-sleeper[1]) is a depiction of Christ carrying the cross as a freestanding figure. This distinctive form of wayside shrine, which emerged in the 17th century, is particularly widespread in Franconia and is a prominent feature of the landscape, especially in the Catholic dioceses of Bamberg and Würzburg.

Corona is over. So no more catering on Sundays, what a pity!

A gate like something out of 1001 Nights. The front is a sculptural reference to the animals in the wildlife park. The back is decorated with a mosaic. There is a lot to look at at this gate and you always discover something new. Does it grant wishes? It's definitely worth a try and it can't do any harm 😉

This fountain is also designed as an Easter fountain.

When walking through the Gate of Wishes at the new Eulensteg, visitors can write wishes on the pieces of paper provided and then throw them into the artistically crafted gate. A work of art by Sören Ernst.
