The Aschen local history museum welcomes its visitors with numerous interesting sights on an area of approx. 8,000 m². In partially renovated or rebuilt buildings, visitors are presented with life and work in earlier times. A granary from 1741 shows tools for peat extraction, for making wooden shoes, for baking, slaughtering and life on the farm. The showpiece on the museum grounds is a restored loom from 1878 - an interesting insight into the local history of our region. The museum will be opened for you by individual arrangement. The Göpelhaus and a grill are also available to groups of visitors after prior registration. A publicly accessible toilet and an air filling station are available to cyclists, for example.
