In this stone-paved section above Alnesvatnet, large rock slabs guide the trail across the mountainside. From here, you get wide views over the lake below and the rugged landscape of Godøya stretching towards the Atlantic.

Mega view, even on the ascent! The path up is nicely rocky and at the top there is plenty of space to rest, so it doesn't feel overcrowded even on weekends with good weather.

Several small, abandoned bunkers. The larger ones are all recently sealed. I found a small, open one with two floors. Be careful on the wooden walkways! I slipped badly today and "lost" a cell phone.

Be careful on the slippery wooden walkways. Despite wearing proper hiking boots, I ended up landing on my back here. Unfortunately, my cell phone broke in the process.
