Beautiful ascending and descending road through the Moorfoot Hills, a hilly mountain range that is especially purple in summer when the heather is in bloom. Relatively quiet road with beautiful views of Edinburgh on the north side.

It doesn't really get much better than this. Remote, picturesque and peaceful.

Picturesque and steady climb out of Innerleithen. Never too steep with beautiful views on all sides.

Worth the LONG climb! A twisty gem of off-piste snakes down the hillside, getting steeper as you progress. A few drops keep it spicy, as do the roots. A deffo must see when riding inners/golfie!

Fast flowing trail, huge berms at the top and then drops in to the woods where it gets tight and technical!

After a hot and dusty session at Golfie, this is a great place to strip down and plunge into the fresh Leithen Water! Take care on the slippery concrete and wade down into the waist-deep water over the edge of the cascade. There's a couple of rough parking spaces here too, so if you're travelling to this spot to ride you can always start and finish here.
