July 26, 2020, Blegoš Summit

Blegoš, with an elevation of 1,562 metres, is the second-highest peak in the Škofja Loka Hills of Upper Carniola, after Mount Altemaver on the Ratitovec Ridge. From the summit it is possible to see the highest Slovenian mountain groups in the Julian Alps, the Karawanks, and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.

Koča na Blegošu (1391 m) Open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays on holidays. latitude/longtitude :46,166388 / 14,105331 The hut stands on Leskovska planina on the west side of the Blegoš peak. On Blegoš, for a long time there was no mountain shelter, although it was needed. That is why PD Škofja Loka started in 1976 on the foundations of a burnt shepherd 's lodge to build a mountain hut, which was officially opened on 18 September 1977 at its 70th anniversary. Over time the hut became too small, so it was increased; they built an extension and rearranged the interior. The increased cottage was opened on June 27, 1982, at the 75th anniversary of PD Škofja Loka. In 1993, they included a mobile phone. In two dining rooms there are 64 seats, and bar counter. In 3 rooms there are 15 beds and 30 beds on the shared bed; (Toilet, wash basin with cold water;)
