Lovely first part of the Ruta del Carrilet. Leaving Olot over a rather straight path with a nice view to the mountains. High quality gravel 👌🏼

Without these steps, the path would be a complete disaster. It is quite steep and the steps, which are wooden posts, help reduce erosion. Good job.

Sant Roc is a small hermitage in the neighborhood of the same name. It has a nice playground next to it, the Via Verda actually runs under it. There is a path that takes you to the Via Verda. It doesn't seem to connect on the map but it does.

Riding the Pirinexus, this is the last gravel path before heading up the serpentine from Olot. Fuel your tanks in Olot!
