1064 m. Coll de Santigosa. On the road that connects Sant Joan de les Abadesses with Coll de Coubet. Very little trafficked road.

The part of the route near Riera de Santa Llucia de Puigmal is very dangerous and many sections are not passable by mountain bike.

From Vallter to Llanars you go along the road and with a lot of unevenness. Once in Llanars and up to Ripoll it is flat and suitable for all audiences.

This trail was a bit of a disappointment on a mountain bike. I think it would be better for hiking. If you take it up from the direction of Olot it is a bike carry. If you take it down from the other direction is so steep that you are either walking or going down worried you are going to go over the handlebars. The trail follows the ridge which means if you are not going down you are going up, so very hard to get any real fun flow going.

There are only a few houses here. Two abandoned, two old but kept up, and one new one with a swimming pool. I must say, I like the old ones the best. The stone walls and stone path are really beautiful. The yellow marked trail continues right through here but you can also take the paved/dirt road out to the Carretera dÓlot.
