Crayford Marshes and around the Thames to Erith Saltings was lovely. Perfect day, not too cold, with some dramatic skies.

Starting in Erith (pronounced "Ear-ith"), from the train station down to the Thames, LOOP section 1 heads down and along the Thames for a short bit. I took advantage of adding in the extra steps walking out to the end of the pier, which was mostly deserted on a gray and windy day. The route than turns inland for a …
