Hiking
The Erith Saltings is an area of salt marshes alongside the Thames and is actually the last remaining such marsh on the river. There's a footpath running alongside the water here, so you can enjoy fantastic views of the marshes, the river and the distant buildings. Opposite lies Coldharbour Point and Purfleet.

Towards the end of the single track, the trail gets even rockier. Great views.
