*1902 – 1978*
Born in Alcalá de Henares. Fled to France after the Civil War. In 1944, deported from Stalag Compiègne to Buchenwald concentration camp. He survived and was liberated. Died in 1978.

All 4 were Republicans/Anti-fascists who fled to France after Franco's victory in 1939. After the occupation of France in 1940/41, many Spanish exiles were picked up by the Gestapo and deported to Nazi concentration camps as "Red Spaniards".
