Gravel riding
At this location, you stand before the former monastery and study house of the Franciscan Friars Minor. It was intended as a training center for the Franciscans. After purchasing an 11-hectare plot of land in Vaalbeek, construction began on a large study house. The church was consecrated in 1949, and everything was completed in 1953. In 2012, the last friars left the monastery, and it was sold to a developer.
Now, this site awaits a new purpose.
