Casa dos Bicos is one of Lisbon's most unique and iconic buildings, located in the Alfama neighborhood at 10 Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, very close to Praça do Comércio and the Tagus River.
Built in 1523 by Brás de Albuquerque, son of the Viceroy of India Afonso de Albuquerque, after a trip to Italy where he was inspired by the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara.
