A new stop for the tourist steam train has opened in Puurs-Sint-Amands at the playground and the old fort Sint-Pietersburcht. The steam train connects Puurs-Sint-Amands with Baasrode and transported more than 7,000 passengers last summer. "We form a unique connection that connects two provinces, three municipalities and various historical and tourist gems", it says.
