Bridge over the Hulpe near the small car park on the road between Averbode and Zichem from where you can enter the Demerbroeken (a stone's throw from the Claes house). The bridge has been there for a while, the name is more recent and was given following the upgrading of the pilgrimage routes. When setting up the pilgrimage route from Scherpenheuvel to Averbode, sturdy iron bridges were built over 3 watercourses (Demer, Hulpe and Zwarte Beek). For the bridge over the Hulpe, the inhabitants of Scherpenheuvel-Zichem chose the Wannes Rapsbrug.
