This is a lovely trail that follows the coastline of the northern side of Santa Cruz Island.
There's a nice bit of elevation gain to get you onto the trail, and then it evens out from there. The surface is compact dirt and can be rocky in places, so mind your footing.
You can enjoy exceptional views across the blue ocean toward the mainland, as well as fantastic mountain views to the south across the island. At the end of the trail is also Potato Harbor, a glistening cove and one of the island's must-visits.
