This five-trunk sweet chestnut is located in the Lippensgoed-Bulskampveld provincial domain in Beernem, in a mixed hardwood-coniferous stock. The more than 100-year-old bundle tree, with a trunk circumference of more than 6 meters, is popularly known as 'De Vijfling'. The tree is especially remarkable because of its growth form. It is a bundle tree, created by the growing together of different trees that were planted in the same planting hole, this is a way to quickly obtain thick trees.
