In February 2020, the English Monastery opened its doors to the public. The 17th-century buildings can be visited three times a day, four days a week. The aim is to discover not only the building, but also its residents and monastic life. The treasures of books that the monasteries house are a common thread throughout the project, which was baptized Sacred Books, Secret Libraries. Each visit will conclude with a meeting with a religious person. Toerisme Vlaanderen invests in the project with a financial contribution.
