This Chapel of Our Lady, in the hamlet of Vinaaf in Opvelp, was founded after the Second World War by veterans and local residents.
The letters A and V are on the door. These refer to Alfred Daniëls, who died in a concentration camp, and Vital Vandereyken, who died in May 1940.
In addition to the statue of Our Lady, there are also statues of Saint Anthony of Padua, of Saint Rita and of Saint Gislenus.
In the month of May, prayers are said for peace.
