St. Lamberti Church in Aurich (East Frisia) is the parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran Lamberti Church congregation. The neoclassical church was built between 1833 and 1835 on the site of the previous building, which was demolished in 1826. The church's name derives from Saint Lambertus, to whom the original pre-Reformation building was dedicated.

Hiking

The remarkable Evangelical Lutheran Lamberti Church was built between 1833 and 1835. A small, unique feature of the church is the bell tower, which stands somewhat apart. At 35 meters high, it is one of the landmarks of the town of Aurich. Everything you need to know can be found at: aurich-lamberti.de/kirche

Hiking

The neoclassical church dates back to 1835. A look inside is worthwhile, among other things, for the Baroque pulpit, the Ihlow altar, the impressive Flemish chandelier, and much more.

Another special feature is the separate church tower, the 35-meter-high Lamberti Tower from the 13th century.
