Vienna. (VN-hk) For 30 years, people from Vorarlberg have felt a bit like they're back home in the southern industrial zone of Vienna's 23rd district.
Back then, Siegfried Hämmerle (75) from Lustenau started his Vorarlberg Avenue project and planted 150 linden trees with eight gardeners from Vorarlberg. A stone with a corresponding inscription was added later, as was a highway sign bearing the name "Vorarlberger Allee" (Vorarlberg Avenue).
