During our last visit, on July 30, 2021, to Hof van Seghers "Dijkbreukwandeling Ruisbroek 1976," we discovered that the new owner had closed the walking path (whether legally or illegally). There was no sign prohibiting the walk anywhere.
Nevertheless, it's worth visiting this location to experience the surroundings from a distance and delve into the past.

The house, together with the accompanying cross barn, were used as an agricultural and commercial exploitation.
Between the building and the Vliet was a chill or water inlet with a loading and unloading quay. It was a place where river ships transported city manure, coal and lime.
Today the water inlet has disappeared. But if you look closely you can still see the markings of the 'chilly' in the landscape.
