Yes, another "ugly" brick church from the outside......but if you walk past the cemetery to the pastor's house on the right + get the key there, you can admire beautiful old paintings inside 😉 ("The late Romanesque wall paintings are of particular art-historical importance in the church room, which were created around 1240.")
It is considered the only real choir tower church in the north German coastal area and, at around 40 meters long, is one of the largest sacred buildings in the Krummhörn.
