The foundation stone of the Protestant church was laid on September 2, 1887. The church, built of red molded bricks, has external dimensions of 17.5 meters in length and 7.5 meters in width. The single-nave interior is clearly structured; the transverse arches of the simple vaults, which reach a height of 8 meters at their apex, rest on wall corbels. The chancel, with its five octagonal sides, features large, single-light pointed-arch windows, while the windows in the nave are divided into two parts. On September 20, 1888, the church was solemnly consecrated by General Superintendent Dr. Baur from Koblenz.
