Nice climbing park that you can definitely do and have fun doing it. But there are also problems: Reservations: only possible online on site. But if it doesn't work online, THEN it works like this too. Instructions: given, you need perfect pitch for the summary that follows, as it is presented so quietly and mumbly. 90% of people won't have understood it. Supervision: not given. Participants had real problems in places, but people (presumably participants' companions) on the ground helped. No sign of staff. The park itself is really good, but you should know what you're doing - safety equipment or not.

Shortly before Kürrenberg, in the middle of the forest, you come across the Vulkanpark climbing forest.

The hexagonal stone marks the point where six different forest districts, which were divided as such under the Elector of Trier in 1787/88, meet.

Good for use as a resting place and also as a meeting point. Plus a bit of "Eifel history" with the hexagonal stones.
