The Weiler Church is the oldest church in Hohenzollern. It is open from April 1st to October 31st from 10am to 6pm. On the cemetery wall leading to the church, as seen from the hiking trail, there is a memorial to those who fell in World War I and II.

The Weiler Church of St. George near Haigerloch-Owingen is the oldest Romanesque church in Hohenzollern. The church was consecrated on April 27, 1152. The builders of the church were the monks of the St. Georgen monastery in the Black Forest, the Counts of Hohenberg (a Swabian noble family) and wealthy citizens. The Weiler Church was named "Monument of the Month March 2009" by the "Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation".
